Hardenburg, Bad Durkheim
A great piece of the Palatinate - honest and warm, top cuisine, great wines and a fabulous view!
Cozy excursion destination for the whole family. Delicious food at normal prices. However self-service. Always my pleasure.
Nice place with a beautiful view, good tarte flambée, the other meals all looked good, nice landlords ...
Nicely situated opposite the Hardenburg. Delicious meal. Price performance good. It is worth taking a break on a hike
Original Palatinate innkeeper, great location, cozy, great food!
Very nice location near the castle. German standard kitchen but okay in terms of price and performance. Typical Palatinate rustic ambience. Recommended for those who like it: Gratinated hand cheese with real fried potatoes, no deep-fryer product. Large outside area. When the weather is bad, it gets tight inside because the guest room is not that big.
Nice little restaurant with a beautiful view, nice and funny innkeeper and good self-made food.
As always, very good
A must on nice days, otherwise a good place. Very nice outside area and very atmospheric.
Snapshot on a short visit to quench your thirst: friendly staff, drinks as you hoped they would be chilled and the selection of drinks was sufficient. I can't say anything about the quality of the food, but the visit could be repeated and then there is more to report.
Well, unfortunately we were unlucky. Have been here very often, most recently in summer 2019, and have always loved coming here. The first shock when looking at the map, it has become really expensive, the prices are far above the Palatinate hut average. Then a grape juice spritzer that was no longer good, not an issue, can happen - but the reaction to the complaint cannot. That could not be, the bottle had been opened again. Then there was a new spritzer anyway. Then came the food, unfortunately there was no bread with the hand cheese, so again at the window and asked for bread. There I got 2x the authoritative information that it was impossible, there was always bread with them. I had to repeat twice that there was no bread, to which I received no response. When I got the bread basket, the kitchen was blasphemed. Impossible! When my children played in the tiny playhouse, the boss pointed out that the playhouse was actually not for them, but for the granddaughter, that it was brand new and they shouldn't break it. 1. Did my children play in it as normal and 2. Then lock it off (there is apparently enough barrier tape!) Or do not place it directly in the outside guest area! The whole thing cost 60 euros with 2 small children. The children's dish was already too small for the 7-year-old and all children's dishes cost between 6 and 7 euros, m.M. after too expensive "in the forest"! We used to love to be here, but it really annoyed us so we won't be back. A real shame!
Very nice restaurant with a wonderful patio and view of the Hardenburg. The service is very friendly and there are always a few flowers draped around the restaurant. There is no fancy menu now, but the hearty dishes are tasty.
Very good food, friendly staff and price is ok too. I can really recommend it.
My food was good. The Riesling to my taste. My friend had soup - there was dry bread with it. Maybe pay more attention to the details. Otherwise worth a visit.
Unfortunately at Google and on site there is no indication that it is closed. We wanted to come to eat, but only in front of the "restaurant" did we find that everything was abandoned and referenced. On the way back we noticed from the crowded mailbox and the fallen sign on the mailbox that it had been like this for a long time.
Stayed at Christmas with 10 people without reservation. We tried with all our might to make room in the outer tent. The food there was delicious and filling. Price / performance is absolutely right here. Service was perfect. We will definitely be happy to come back !!!
Good food and nice to sit. We liked it very much. Price performance was right.
Rarely eaten so well and inexpensively in an economy.
A beautiful old house was converted into a rustic restaurant. We had schnitzel with sheep's cheese and hot peppers, which were top. The staff is friendly and the food comes fast.
We are very happy there. You are sitting in the open air, it is quiet with a view of the castle and the food is really good! We recommend.
Okay
